Director Bryan Singer has seemingly confirmed another new mutant for his upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.

Taking to his Instagram page, Singer confirmed that he is currently shooting the “place of business” for Caliban, an albino mutant created in 1981 by the legendary Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum.

Often depicted as a member of the underground Morlocks, Caliban’s main power is that he’s able to track other mutants. More importantly, he would also become one of Apocalypse’s Four Horseman, taking on the ominous mantle of Death. Given how Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse will focus on the titular Apocalypse and his Horseman, chances are that the character will very likely take on the Death role at some point in the film.

Caliban has not yet been cast for this next X-movie, but the film is already confirmed to feature James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Lucas Till as Havoc, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Lana Condor as Jubilee, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Ben Hardy as Angel/Archangel, and Oscar Isaac as the titular Apocalypse. Then there’s also talk that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine could make some sort of appearance as well.

X-Men: Apocalypse is currently set for a May 27th, 2016 release.
