Fantasy web series Caledonia has been released on REVRY, a streaming service described as the “LGBT Netflix.”

Based on novelist and folklorist Amy Hoff’s series of urban fantasy novels, Caledonia follows human police inspector Leah Bishop and her partner Dorian Grey, one of a race of a shapeshifting seal-men named selkies, as they investigate supernatural crime in the shadowy backstreets of Glasgow. The series’ themes of diversity and inclusivity of various gender identities and sexualities make it an ideal fit for the service’s ‘queerated’ content.

The release coincides with the republication of the first novel in the series (also the basis of the series’ first season) by Glaswegian publisher Erebus Society, with subsequent instalments of the book series scheduled for regular release over the coming months and years.

You can watch the series on REVRY here.
