With Sony’s Uncharted movie currently without a director, it could well be that Travis Knight ends up helming the picture.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, the Bumblebee director is currently in talks with Sony to tackle Uncharted. This news, of course, comes on the back of the film losing 10 Cloverfield Lane’s Dan Trachtenberg – who in turn had replaced the departed Shawn Levy in the director’s chair.

Sony still has plans to start production on the video game adaptation early next year, with a December 2020 release date booked in.

This Uncharted movie has been penned by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins, and Tom Holland is attached to play famed explorer Nathan Drake in the picture.
