Britain’s oldest cinema, Birmingham’s The Electric, will be paying tribute to the late great Leonard Nimoy this Easter weekend with a rare screening of STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK.

Originally released in 1984, STAR TREK III was notable for not just Spock (spoiler alert) returning from the dead (somewhat appropriate for Easter) but for the fact that it was Leonard Nimoy’s feature directorial debut. Although the film was a modest success at best, Nimoy went on to enjoy greater successes with STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME and THREE MEN AND A BABY.

The screening of this hugely underrated classic in the STAR TREK movie series is scheduled for a 10:30pm start on Saturday, April 4th and tickets are available now. For further information, visit theelectric.co.uk.
