Remember when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles caused a bit of a stir when it brought in some new additions to voice certain characters at the last minute? Well now the sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, has done the same.

The LA Times is reporting that Fargo’s Brad Garrett has been brought in to voice Krang. It was previously announced that Portlandia’s Fred Armisen would be providing the vocals for the alien menace. Whilst the change of vocals for the first film was down to the studio simply wanting to hear different voices for characters, this time out the change-up is merely down to schedule conflicts, with Armisen now unable to take on the gig.

Where Krang is concerned, there’s no real concrete information on how he’ll be introduced in Out of the Shadows or what his arrival will lead to, although there is already chatter that his debut could lead to Dimension X somehow becoming a part of the franchise in the future.

To be directed by Dave Green, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is set to hit UK screens on May 30th.
