Knightwatch Press have put out a call for submissions for their forthcoming anthology Raus! Untoten! , specifically tales involving Nazis and the undead. The small press imprint is after original works between 2500 and 6000 words in length, and the collection promises to collect the work of both new writers and some of the more experienced members of the industry.

Does the world really need another book filled with World War Two fascists and Vampires, Zombies and other Ghouls? We asked the project’s editor, Matthew Sylvester, and he said “Personally, I feel that stories about the undead are exciting. They tap into the fear of death that everyone has, and the wish that it could be beaten. Undead are death personified, especially Zombies, and in a film, book or game that involves undead, you often see a very high casualty rate with regard to the undead. Nazis are the people that it’s okay for everyone the world over to hate with a vengeance. They are the epitome of evil incarnate.”

The submission deadline for this  anthology is midnight on Monday, 10th June 2013. More information can be found via the Fringeworks website here.
