Despite having a release date of November 6th, 2015, the next James Bond movie had still not been given an official start date. Well, that’s now changed, with the latest 007 outing, currently referred to as simply BOND 24, to start principal photography on December 6th. Before that, director Sam Mendes will meet with his cast for a table read of the final script in late November.

In terms of plot, no details are known at this stage, although the story is expected follow the narrative of the previous Daniel Craig-starring movies. We also know that the powers that be are looking to introduce a classic henchman into the fold, much like a Jaws or an Odd Job. As well as Craig, the film will see the returns of Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, and Ben Whishaw as M, Moneypenny, and Q, respectively.

With the script for BOND 25 also currently being worked on, it could even be that this next film lays some foundations for what is to come in the following film.
