Neill Blomkamp’s Chappie has visited SDCC today and brought with it the first poster and banner for you to feast your hungry eyes upon. Set to be released on March 6th 2015, Chappie‘s premise consists of an adopted robot who finds himself living within a dysfunctional and obscure family, decorated with a cast that includes Hugh Jackman; Sigourney Weaver; Sharlto Copley and Dev Patel, as well as Die Antwoord’s Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er.

The images themselves are subtle and playful, choosing to hint rather than blow your mind with facts and extremities. Take a look for yourselves but there are plenty of Blomkampian nuggets scattered around, aiding in the creation of a sci-fi tone and providing a grungey warfare style.
