With all things Heroes-in-a-Half-Shell having been relatively quiet for the past few years, now comes word that Paramount Pictures is moving forward with a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has brought in Bad Words’ Andrew Dodge to pen a new TMNT picture; a picture that will actually serve as yet another reboot, completely ignoring the most recent two films.

The last we’d heard about any cinematic shenanigans for everyone’s favourite humanoid turtles was back in late 2016 when producer Andrew Form said there were no plans to continue with the franchise. Fast-forward to 2018 and that has kind of being proven to be true, with the powers-that-be now choosing to continue with the Turtles but to also go in a new direction once again.

That’s all that we know for now, but expect more on all things Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as we get it.
