Now that Ben Affleck’s Batman has made his big screen bow, many are wondering just how many DCCU movies the actor is contracted to. And today brings some solid confirmation on that topic.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck’s agent Patrick Whitesell revealed, “He’s contracted to do at least Justice League One and Two, so at least three times wearing the cape.” He added that “there’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

Previous speculation on the future of Affleck’s Caped Crusader went as far as to say that he could well be tied down to a whole new Batman trilogy. Seemingly, though, there’s nothing concrete in place for a solo Dark Knight movie just yet. That said, we’ve known for a while that the actor/writer/director had been working on a Batman script with DC’s Geoff Johns. On that front, the rumour is that Affleck is being eyed to actually direct that particular movie, tentatively titled The Batman.

Up next for Affleck’s World’s Greatest Detective is a brief turn in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad when that arrives on the big screen in August. Following that, Zack Snyder’s two Justice League movies are set for November 2017 and June 2019 releases.
