In some interesting news, it appears that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is actually going to be split into two movies. The trailer for Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL follow-up is set to debut in front of JUPITER ASCENDING on February 6th, but a leaked screenshot supposedly taken from the trailer suggests that Snyder’s movie will indeed be a two-parter. Credit for the shot goes to AICN.

Whilst we’ve known for months that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE was set for a March 25, 2016 release, the above image suggests we’ll be seeing a film before that. If the picture is to be believed, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: ENTER THE KNIGHT will be released on October 23rd of this year.

All of this is far from official at this stage, but given how many characters are to appear in BATMAN V SUPERMAN (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Alfred Pennyworth, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and possibly even more), a two-part effort may put fans at ease who were thinking that Warner Brothers were trying to cram too much into one movie.

As ever, expect more on this as it develops.
