A new campaign has launched to raise funds for upcoming anthology film, BAD MEDICINE. Birmingham based production company Venomous Little Man, the team behind the fantastic short ASCENSION (for which James Hart won the award for Best Director at last year’s Bram Stoker International Film Festival in Whitby) have assembled a brilliant cast and hope to begin shooting the first segment soon.

Already attached to the project are actors Barbie Wilde (HELLRAISER II: HELLBOUND), Derek Melling (INBRED), Laurence Saunders (THE SEASONING HOUSE), Mark Rathbone (INBRED) and Tim Dry (XTRO, RETURN OF THE JEDI).

Written by Dave Jeffrey, author of the hit zombie novel NECROPOLIS RISING, it promises to hawk back to the glorious style of films from Amicus studios.

The premise is:

A modern day mental health unit where a therapist is holding a group therapy session where five participants each recount their story in the hope the therapist (Wilde) can resolve their trauma and help them to move on. But what happens if the therapist is not what he seems and has something far more sinister in mind for his patients?

There are some great rewards on offer for all levels of investment, from a screen ‘thank you’ credit available for only £1, to VIP screenings, producer credits, or cast and crew party invites. For more information, and to contribute, head over to the Indiegogo page.
