With Doctor Strange now in the books and with three more MCU movies on the way next year, now comes some news on the next gathering of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Avengers: Infinity War.

As reported by Omega Underground, it’s believed that Infinity War will start shooting on January 23rd in Georgia and London. The current working title for the film is Mary Lou.

All that’s known about Avengers: Infinity War so far is that it will see some of Marvel’s finest heroes coming together to tackle the threat of Thanos, who will finally step out of the shadows after being first introduced back at the end of Joss Whedon’s Avengers Assemble. As well as the already-established members of the Avengers, audiences can expect to see the team joined by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy when Infinity War hits the big screen.

Additionally, January is also when the Chadwick Boseman-starring Black Panther will start shooting.

As alluded to, up next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in May 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming in July 2017, and Thor: Ragnarok in November 2017. After that will come Black Panther in February 2018, followed by Avengers: Infinity War on May 4th, 2018.
