Aubrey Plaza will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos!

The WandaVision spinoff stars Kathryn Hahn as the powerful witch Agatha Harkness, who was positioned as the main antagonist to Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. Also on the call sheet for the upcoming series are Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Emma Caulfield Ford, who reprises her WandaVision role as nosy neighbour Dottie, and Heartstopper star Joe Locke in an unknown role.

WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer is among the team working on the project, and is also developing a Vision-centric series titled Vision Quest, which will star Paul Bettany.

Aubrey Plaza was most recently seen in Sundance favourite Emily the Criminal and is currently on screens with season 2 of HBO’s The White Lotus, starring opposite Jennifer Coolidge, as well as in the FXX animated series Little Demon co-starring Danny DeVito. She is also on board Francis Ford Coppola’s magnum opus Megalopolis.

Marvel recently aired the finale to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+, and will soon be releasing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on November 11th, wrapping up Phase 4 of the MCU. No release date is set for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, but it will likely debut late next year.
