In a huge show of faith, Starz has confirmed that Ash vs. Evil Dead has already been greenlit for a second season… despite the first season yet to even hit the air.

With the Bruce Campbell-starring show set to debut in the US on Halloween, Starz Managing Director Carmi Zlotnik revealed, “One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two decade-long appetite for more Ash. The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story, have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with season one.”

This is some news that is sure to ease the concerns of many long-time Evil Dead fans who were a little unsure of just how good this new show will be. Seemingly Starz certainly has plenty of faith in the show being a big success, and why the hell not? It’s got Bruce freakin’ Campbell returning to fight Deadites!

Sadly for us UK sorts, though, Ash vs. Evil Dead has yet to be given a UK home as of yet. Not groovy. Totally, totally not groovy.
