With the recent news that Ra’s al Ghul would be playing a pivotal role in the upcoming third season of ARROW, word also broke that Ted Grant, aka Wildcat, would be appearing in the show. Now comes confirmation, via Deadline, that POWER and HOUSE OF PAYNE’s J.R. Ramirez has been cast as Grant.

In terms of what role Ted Grant will play in the show, at this stage all we know is that he’ll have a key tie to Katie Cassidy’s Laurel Lance in Season 3. As for the character of Wildcat, he first appeared back in 1942’s SENSATION COMICS #1. The character’s main powers are his athleticism and fighting skills, although certain incarnations of the character have seen him with the power to return from the grave up to nine times.

ARROW returns to The CW on 8th October, with a UK return to Sky1 following later that month.
