With Ash Williams currently enjoying some splendid time in the spotlight thanks to Ash vs. Evil Dead, we’re set to see even more of this iconic genre fave as he teams up with KISS. Yes, as in that KISS!

From Dynamite Entertainment, the worlds of Army of Darkness and KISS are soon to collide in a new comic book series due to launch this coming February. X-Men ‘92’s duo of Chad Bowers and Chris Sims are on writing duties, with Ruairi Coleman illustrating the tale.

The early synopsis on this huge crossover series reads:

KISS is on top of the world and rocking faces until the night disciples of The Destroyer show up and the band disappears. With the tour cancelled, a young Ash misses one of the most important events of his life that will change his destiny. Now the Chosen One has to get back on the right path.

Of course, this isn’t Ash’s first time at the crossover rodeo, for the character – immortalized on screens both big and small by Bruce Campbell – has previously tangled with Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Krampus, and Xena. As for KISS, as of 2015 they had a bonkers-yet-brilliant teaming with Scoobert and the gang in Scooby-Doo! And KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery.
