It looks as if Warner Brothers’ upcoming Dungeons & Dragons redo may have found its first cast member.
Deadline is reporting that Ansel Elgort is in talks to join the film, with the Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars actor being lined up to play one of the leads in this latest attempt at bringing this fan-favourite property to the big screen.
Dungeons & Dragons began life back in 1974 as a fantasy table-top RPG. Over the decades, there’s been several new incarnations and adaptations of the game, including the awesomely-fun 1983 cartoon series and a poorly-received 2000 live-action movie.
Goosebumps’ Rob Letterman is currently on board to helm this new Dungeons & Dragons from a script by Wrath of the Titans and The Conjuring 2’s David Leslie Johnson.SHARE YOUR COMMENTS BELOW OR ON TWITTER @STARBURST_MAG
