Anime streaming service Crunchyroll has teamed up with Argentinian professional footballer  Lisandro “The Butcher” Martínez to release a limited edition anime-inspired merch collection. The range includes ‘The Butcher T-Shirt’, which presents Lisandro in a way that he looks like he’s just stepped from the pages of Shōnen Jump.

“Something I love about this collaboration is that it allows me to show a different side of myself,” said Lisandro. “When you’re on the pitch, you get so caught up in the game and live it with such passion that, in a way, you end up transforming too—just like the anime characters. The nickname “The Butcher” was born from the fans, so I think it’s a great way for us to connect.”
