We’ve just received word at Moonbase Alpha that tickets for ANDERCON 2015 are officially GO! Tickets for June’s event are due to go on sale as of 7pm today!

Once the clock strikes 7pm, fans will be able to pick up Saturday, Sunday and Weekend Bundle tickets for this event celebrating Anderson Entertainment.

On the event, Jamie Anderson, Managing Director of Anderson Entertainment and son of the late great Gerry, said, “This year’s celebration of the work and worlds of Gerry Anderson will be a very different event to last year’s – an unconventional convention seeing us using not one but two very different venues to tell the Anderson story. We’re launching on the Friday night with a full programme at the Phoenix Cinema and Arts Centre in Leicester, including Sean Feast’s ‘A Thunderbird at Bomber Command’, enabling us to keep the main event at the Athena firmly under wraps until the Saturday morning!”

Jamie added, “We’re also announcing our first guests too, with the news that we’ll be joined throughout the weekend by Special Effects genius Brian Johnson, and celebrating 50 years of THUNDERBIRDS with David Graham, Shane Rimmer and Matt Zimmerman. Our team is working hard to create a very different convention experience, not only looking back to past televisual triumphs, but also celebrating the Anderson legacy with new productions including ZEROIDS AND CUBES, FIRESTORM and THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO.”

In line with last year, the ticket prices are £45 for a single day ticket, with bolt on options also offered for the Friday evening launch night and the Saturday evening ‘Top Secret Briefing’. Concession and child tickets will also be available.
