With The Flash having already returned for the second half of Season 2 over in the US (we UK folks have to wait a little longer), The CW’s Scarlet Speedster-centric show has added another familiar DC name to its ranks.

TVLine is reporting that Days of Our Lives’ Allison Paige is joining the show as Eliza Harmon, better known as the speedster Trajectory. Unfortunately for the comic book character, she only actually featured for a matter of weeks before her untimely death due to complications from Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project. The project gave Harmon superspeed, but the downside was that she was then unable to move at regular speed unless she had access to a certain drug. She would eventually die after only 5 weeks of comic book appearances. Whether the TV adaptation of the character fares any better, we’ll have to wait and see.

Trajectory will debut in the sixteenth episode of Season 2, with that outing officially described as:

“Having arrived in town intent on creating maximum chaos, Trajectory’s antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by The Flash himself. Barry thus must quickly uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask – as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction.”

The Flash returns to UK screens on Sky1 on March 1st.
