With Resident Evil: The Final Chapter soon to go into production over in South Africa, Deadline is reporting that Ali Larter is returning to the fold as franchise favourite Claire Redfield.

Larter debuted as the character in Resident Evil: Extinction before reprising the role for Resident Evil: Afterlife. As well as Claire Redfield, Wentworth Miller is back as Chris Redfield and series mainstay Milla Jovovich is returning as Alice.

Paul W.S. Anderson is again helming this (supposed) final entry in the Resident Evil movie franchise, which has to date taken over $900 million from its five outings.
