As the show gears up for its Season 4 finale, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been confirmed to return for a fifth season.
The news was initially confirmed on Twitter by showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen, and then ABC’s official Twitter page followed suit:

Obviously we don’t know what to expect from Season 5 at this stage, with things to be a lot clearer when Season 4 comes to a close in the US next week. As for UK audiences, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D can be found on E4.
