With this week already bringing word on the future of some DC-based shows, today brings news on some of Marvel’s small screen antics.

In some expected news, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been conformed to return for a third season, whilst the Hayley Atwell-starring Agent Carter has been given the nod for a second season. Frustratingly, Agent Carter has for some reason yet to find itself a UK home, but here’s hoping that a confirmed second season may convince somebody to take a chance on the show.

Now a few weeks ago we brought news that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was also to get two spin-off shows; one unknown show from John Logan, and one show that would feature Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter and Adrianna Palicki’s Mockingbird. In some interesting news, Deadline is reporting that the Lance Hunter and Mockingbird show has now been scrapped. No reasoning has been given for this decision just yet.

Expect to hear more on all of this as it develops, and let’s get crossing those fingers on Agent Carter finding a UK home at some point soon.
