Last month brought news that ABC had cancelled the Lauren Cohan-starring Whiskey Cavalier after just one solitary season. But now, it appears that the series may not be as dead as once thought.

Courtesy of The Wrap, ABC and Warner Bros. are now believed to be back in talks to reverse that initial decision to scrap the show.

To be fair, Warner Bros. were still looking to continue with the series even after ABC axed Whiskey Cavalier. As such, they planned to shop the show around to other networks in the hope of it being picked up for a second year. Now, ABC is reconsidering matters and a set decision is expected to be made public within the next fortnight.

If you remember, Lauren Cohan quit The Walking Dead in order to focus on Whiskey Cavalier, meaning that initial cancellation lad to TWD fans hoping that this axing would open the door for Cohan’s Maggie Rhee to return to the walker-tastic show down the line.

For those who haven’t had a chance to check out Whiskey Cavalier, the action-comedy show centres on an agency of spies tasked with saving the world.

As ever, expect more on the future of Whiskey Cavalier as it continues to develop.
