Here are five great reasons to tune into Horror Channel this week….

Tuesday September 14th, 9pm – The Stepfather (2009)

A psychopath (Dylan Walsh) leaves a trail of murder as he passes himself off as a widower to prey on more victims. Not before gaining their confidence and marrying them, though. A remake of the 1987 film

Wednesday September 15th, 10.50pm – Itsy Bitsy (2019)

This is not your average giant spider movie, as the giant arachnid is actually the embodiment of an ancient entity. Stars Bruce Davison, Denise Crosby, and Eileen Dietz (the face of the demon in The Exorcist).

Friday September 17th, 9pm – G-Loc (2020)

An escape mission from Earth to the new settlement of Rhea is in jeopardy when the crew of a Rhea supply ship decide to stop accepting new refugees. The UK TV premiere of this remarkable low budget sci-fi from writer/director Tom Paton starring Stephen Moyer, Casper Van Dien, Tala Gouveia, and John Rhys-Davies.

Saturday September 18th, 9pm – Fright Night (1985)

Tom Holland’s superb comedy-horror in which William Ragsdale plays Charley Brewster who believes his next-door neighbour (Chris Sarandon) is a vampire. Roddy McDowall is superb as the TV horror host who is roped into helping the youngster. A genuine classic.

Sunday September 19th, 4.55pm – 8.50pm – The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) / Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977)

A double bill of films featuring the stop-motion creations of the legendary Ray Harryhausen. Settle back for an early evening of swashbuckling adventure and terrifying creatures.

Tune into Horror Channel on Sky 317, Virgin 149, Freeview 68, Freesat 138.
