PUBLISHER: EAGLEMOSS • RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 24TH

As we forge into this latest golden era of Star Trek, now is the perfect time to honour the shows that went before it and this handsome release from Eaglemoss, written by Ben Robinson and Mark Wright, shines a light on a show that over the years has been somewhat forgotten – Star Trek: Voyager.

Featuring brand new interviews with the principal cast members, this takes us from the inception of the show and hurls us into the Delta Quadrant, highlighting the new alien races we met along the way, the various departments such as the writers’ room and the Art Department, key episodes and the characters who accompanied us on that 70,000 light year journey home. The pride in the work shown by the cast and crew is evident, and the care in chronicling it clear; with the benefit of hindsight and distance as the Trek pantheon grows, there’s a warmth here that shines off the page.

Janeway is back in Star Trek: Prodigy, Seven of Nine returned in the first season of Star Trek: Picard, and we even saw a future version of Voyager herself in Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery, so it’s very clear that the influence of the show emanates on into the 21st century, but don’t forget the huge strides Trek made with its first formidable female captain, some incredible design work, the shift into the CGI era and some captivating stories. If you ever loved Star Trek: Voyager, this is the book for you.
