The last few weeks saw news break of a TV continuation of THE OMEN, currently titled DAMIEN. That series is being developed by Glen Mazzara, but it appears we’ll be getting a lot more Damien Thorn over the next few years. Yes, a movie remake is now being worked on.

Didn’t Richard Donner’s horror classic already get the remake treatment, we hear you ask? Don’t worry, you didn’t imagine it – there was a 2006 remake starring Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles. Clearly that redo wasn’t enough, and now, according to Bloody-Disgusting, we’re to get yet another remake that will be headed up by Platinum Dunes; the studio behind the A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, FRIDAY THE 13TH, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and THE HITCHER remakes.
