Want to hear music from some of your favourite films performed by a symphony orchestra and a choir comprising more than 100 voices? Of course you do!

Continuing a very welcome trend, Grammy and Emmy award winning composer James Newton Howard will debut his new concert 3 Decades of Music for Hollywood at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2017. Following hot on the heels of the recent Independence Day Live announcement, this greatest hits show will include music from The Dark Knight, The Hunger Games series and many other films including Blood Diamond and The Sixth Sense.

During his illustrious career, Howard has collaborated with the likes of Hans Zimmer, Elton John and Lawrence Kasdan, and the evening will include many exclusive new interviews, as well as stories and memories from the composer himself.

Perhaps not as famous a name as some of his peers, Howard’s music will certainly be familiar. He has worked on more than 70 films and TV series, has received 8 Oscar nominations and in 2008 received ASCAP’s prestigious Henry Mancini Award for Lifetime Achievement.

3 Decades of Music will have its World Premiere at The Royal Albert Hall on November 3rd, 2017 before visiting 19 other European cities. Tickets are on sale now at www.royalalberthall.com.
