Whilst a certain magazine is currently in stores and showcasing Chris Carter’s famed X-Files (that’d be the last issue of STARBURST, in case you needed a further hint), a perfectly-timed video featurette has been released to give a preview of the show’s return in just a matter of weeks.

FOX has released a 21-minute look at The X-Files, which returns to US screens on January 24th. A second episode will follow on January 25th and these will be part of the show’s new six-episode season. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be back as Agents Mulder and Scully, respectively, not to mention a return for William B. Davis as the Cigarette Smoking Man and new additions in the form of Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Annabeth Gish, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani.
