In one of the more interesting stories of the week, 20th Century Fox has picked up the rights to the life story of Stan ‘The Man’ Lee. And not just that, but the studio plans to make a ‘70s-set action-adventure movie with Lee as the central character.

The Hollywood Reporter brings word of the news, with producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey on board to oversee the film. There’s no title for this project just yet, although the movie is already being described as having a similar vibe to Kingsman and the Roger Moore era James Bond efforts.

Lee himself is no stranger to being an on-screen presence, with him having had a cameo in near-enough every Marvel movie picture to date, not to mention appearing in the likes of Entourage and Kevin Smith’s Mallrats.

As ever, expect more on this as it develops.
