With THE FLASH set to debut later this year, it’s now been confirmed that PRISON BREAK star, not to mention STOKER writer, Wentworth Miller will be joining the show as Leonard Snard. Comic book fans will know that name as being the villainous Captain Cold. Miller will debut in the fourth episode of The CW’s ARROW spin-off.

Captain Cold is a long-time foe of The Flash, first appearing back in the 1957 SHOWCASE #8 story, THE MAN WHO MASTERED ABSOLUTE ZERO. After an abusive upbringing, Snard invents a high-powered freeze ray that he uses for a life of crime.

THE FLASH is set to debut on The CW on Tuesday, 7th October, with a UK showing hopefully following shortly after.
