TV News

This exciting news is the first to officially come of the Marvel/Netflix team up. The collaborative projects between the two include Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. However, our news comes from the fourth of these Netflix series - Daredevil.

Marvel have made the announcement that Drew Goddard, whose credits include Cloverfield, Cabin in The Woods and Lost, will be completely involved in the running of Daredevil for Netflix. Goddard will be in charge of writing and directing the first episode, essentially setting the tone of these online Marvel projects. Drew is then set to stay on board as the showrunner and executive producer. This will hopefully allow him the creative freedom to bring in some talented collaborators.

The 13 episode Netflix series is due to premiere in 2015 and will link with the other three series to form a final project (in Avengers-esque style) known as The Defenders.
