Arrow Casts 'al Ghul'

With the League of Assassins having appeared in the latest season of ARROW, not to mention reference of Ra's al Ghul and his daughter, fans were left wondering if we would get an appearance from Ra's or daughter Talia at some point in the future. Well, to answer that, TV Guide is reporting that an al Ghul has indeed been cast.

To the surprise of some, the al Ghul in question is Nyssa al Ghul, the other daughter of Ra's. On board to play the role is SPARTACUS’ Katrina Law, who joins former SPARTACUS colleagues Manu Bennett and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, ARROW's Slade Wilson and Amanda Waller, respectively. Nyssa will apparently appear to battle Caity Lotz's Canary later in the season.

This follows on from the rather fantastic news yesterday that Oliver Queen will finally be getting a mask come December. Added to that, we've got The Count returning this week, Barry Allen, aka The Flash, debuting next week, a version of the Suicide Squad on the horizon from Amanda Waller, the turn towards the Deathstroke moniker from Slade Wilson, and a whole heap more to look forward to.
