TV News

Just a heads-up, if you’ve not finished Season 1 of The CW’s ARROW yet or you’re simply not a fan of spoilers, turn away now. Seriously. Go. Get gone! Go and vote in our DOCTOR WHO polls or something. Now!

Right, if you’ve made it this far, I don’t feel any form of guilt for ruining this for you. It was your decision. As the first season of ARROW came to a climax, John Barrowman’s Malcolm Merlyn, aka the Dark Archer, ended up dead at the hands of Oliver Queen. Well, TV Guide is reporting that Merlyn will be returning in the upcoming season, with the character confirmed for at least two episodes. Whether his return will be in the form of flashbacks, hallucinations or even a return from the grave is yet to be known. Be sure to keep an eye on Starburst for the scoop as we get it, though.

As for ARROW, the show returns in the US on 9th October, with us Brits set to get it a few days later. As well as a potential return for Malcolm Merlyn, the upcoming season is set to introduce us to some familiar DC faces like Black Canary, Bronze Tiger, Sin, Amanda Waller, Professor Ivo, and The Flash.
