TV News

With more and more films in development and the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. about to infiltrate our TVs, the impressive Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow. One other corner of the universe is the One-Shots – short films released as extras on the feature film DVD/Blu-ray releases. If you’ve bought IRON MAN 3 already, you’ll have seen AGENT CARTER, continuing the adventures of Captain America’s ex. And, like ITEM 47 was the first non-feature appearance of S.H.I.E.L.D., Peggy Carter may too be getting her own series.

According to Deadline, Marvel are looking for a writer to head this potential project. This is just a rumour for now, but if true, we’d love to see the continued adventures of Hayley Atwell’s agent. Though Marvel have yet to address demand for a female-led superhero film, a series could be great too.

Check back on Starburst for further information. Until then, you can watch AGENT CARTER on the IRON MAN 3 Blu-ray, out now, and catch AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. when it’s broadcast on Channel 4 on 27th September.
