You’ll have heard his battle cry of “EXTERMINATE” countless times, but DOCTOR WHO actor Nicholas Briggs is to escape his Dalek shell and play a starship commander in upcoming sci-fi web series INFINITE, it has been announced today.

As stated in an official press release, Briggs will play General Richter, the commander of a manned mission into a black hole. And if that doesn’t sound at all safe to you, at least he’ll have his crew to back him up – West End heartthrob Joshua Berg as “handsome and brooding” cyborg Colonel McQuaid and newcomer Helena McColl as “beautiful and sensitive” android Sil. But brooding and sensitive gets you nowhere in the coldness of space, so luckily there’s also Lia Albers as sultry engineer Svensson and Joseph Law as cocky pilot Anderson to round out the cast.

The creation of British filmmaker Paul Cotrulia, INFINITE will be online soon at http://www.youtube.com/infinitewebseries. Before then, you can follow the series on Twitter and check out the first teaser trailer below.
