TV News: TRUE BLOOD to Meet the True Death

TV News

Bad news TRUE BLOOD fan(g)s, HBO has announced that next year’s seventh season will be its last. How Sookie is that! That said, for a show to last that long is quite an achievement these days, so we guess it’s faerie ‘nuff. (I do apologise.)

HBO’s president of programming, Michael Lombardo, had this to say in a statement: “TRUE BLOOD has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO. Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show.”

Let’s hope all involved learn from the (let’s face it) sloppy storytelling (*cough* Warlow *cough*) that made this last season painful to watch at times, and deliver a truly worthy finale.

TRUE BLOOD Season 7 will premiere summer 2014.

Shame, I'll be sorry to see it go. Is season 6 really that bad? Not seen that one yet
