TV News

It seems that ever since Linda Carter hung up the lasso and bracelets, there’s been talk of a new Wonder Woman TV series happening. There was even an Adrianne Palicki-starring pilot episode filmed a few years ago, although that wasn’t picked up. Since then, The CW has been developing a show called AMAZON, doing for Wonder Woman what SMALLVILLE did for Superman and what ARROW is currently doing for Green Arrow. Well, it appears that AMAZON is officially on hold.

The CW President Mark Pedowitz revealed, “The script isn’t where we want it. It’s better to wait and get it right.”

Not cool, man, not cool. Still, in related news, at least Barry Allen’s THE FLASH is to get his own show on The CW.
