TV News: HULK TV Series Put “On Pause”

TV News

For years now, Guillermo del Toro has kept badgering away, trying to get his long-proposed HULK TV show moving along. Back in January, del Toro sadly said, “I met with Jeph Loeb after Avengers, but after that meeting, there’s been complete radio silence.” Radio silence is never good…

Well, speaking to MTV, Loeb has now said that the project is currently “on pause” and that “the world of TV is about timing.” Personally, we think the world of TV looks a lot better when there’s a bit more Hulk Smash! involved.

Unfortunately for the big green guy, it seems that all of Marvel’s TV eggs are currently being put into their upcoming AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. basket. That show’s set to debut on ABC in September.

Who knows, maybe the whole ‘HULK on hold’ thing is down to plans for a new HULK film? A man can hope, can’t he?
