With the second season of ARROW set to air later this year, production has now begun... not to mention a new face added in the form of FIREFLY’s Summer Glau. Star Stephen Amell and executive producer Marc Guggenheim have taken to Twitter to release some images showing the second season moving into production...

"Action!"

As for Glau, she will be playing Isabel Rochev, a possible business rival of Oliver’s. The Hollywood Reporter is describing the character as “enigmatically beautiful” and “dangerous.” In The CW’s ARROW, Rochev will work for Stellmoor International; a company that is looking to purchase Queen Consolidated. The character will debut in the first episode of season 2.

Isabel Rochev is a character straight from the Green Arrow comic books, although she only debuted three years ago. Still, that didn’t stop Rochev soon gaining control of Queen Industries... something that may possibly happy down the line during ARROW’s run.

Season 2 of ARROW will premiere on 9th October, with the first season hitting Blu-ray and DVD on 7th September.
