BBC 2 have announced a major new four-part co-production with BBC America sure to be of major interest to Starburst readers. Entitled My God, It’s Full Of Stars: A Journey To The Edge Of Science Fiction it tells of the impact of science fiction through cinema, TV and literature.

No news as to when it will be broadcast but the themes of the four episodes are: time travel; exploration of space; robots and AI; and aliens. The show will be made with the help of filmmakers, writers, actors and graphic artists.

Starburst will keep you posted on details as they emerge.

PS: Some trivia – the line ‘My God, it's full of stars’ is from the book version of 2001: A Space Odyssey NOT in the original film!

Head over to the BBC site for more information.
