Following on from Friday's first teaser (here) comes another typically enigmatic promo for AMERICAN HORROR STORY's eagerly awaited second story arc, ASYLUM.

Action this time takes place in an East Coast mental institution in the '60s, where dubious practices are afoot. Jessica Lange heads up the show as the nun who runs the hospital, with other Season 1 players such as Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Pters and Lily Rabe also return. Murphy has also attracted a whole host of quality names to round out the cast, including Chloe Sevigny (AMERICAN PSYCHO), Joseph Fiennes (CAMELOT), James Cromwell (REVENGE OF THE NERDS III: THE NEXT GENERATION), and Clea Duvall (THE FACULTY). Lizzie Brocheré, Britne Oldford, Mark Consuelos, Jenna Dewan, and Chris Zylka also star. But I've never heard of them. Sure they're good. As for the casting of Maroon 5's Adam Levin? Hmmmm...

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM opens its doors to those lucky folks living in the States sometime in October. Everywhere else is in for a little bit of a wait it looks like, as nobody has announced their air dates as of yet.
