Now this is more like it! Forget that HULK TV show in development - it's confirmed as being yet another interpretation of the character outside of the popular Marvel Studios canon (bad idea) - this new idea however, should it go through, would see a weekly TV series based in and around the universe set up in the five films leading up to THE AVENGERS.

Marvel Studios are reportedly in talks with ABC to produce the show, though no plot details, title, or characters have been revealed. It’s unlikely the Avengers will feature as regulars (though we wouldn’t rule out an occasionally cameo from one or two of them), but the show would open up the opportunity to showcase plenty of second tier superheroes from their catalogue (approximately 8000 according to head honcho Kevin Fiege).

We’ll keep our fingers crossed that this becomes a reality very soon. As always we’ll keep you abreast of all developments…

So, what direction would you like to see the show go in? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter @Starburst_Mag
