Fresh off his stint on CSI, actor Laurence Fishburne is reportedly eyeing another procedural in the form of HANNIBAL, the small screen reboot of Thomas Harris’ serial killer saga.
If the deal goes through Fishburne will be portraying Jack Crawford, one of the key characters leading the hunt for Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal Lecter. As previously reported Hugh Dancy will co-star as FBI agent Will Graham.
[UPDATE] As of July 27th, Fishburne is now signed on!
HANNIBAL will air on NBC early next year, and is being overseen by PUSHING DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller, who will pull double duty on this and his other unwanted TV reboot, MOCKINGBIRD LANE.
