New TREMORS TV Show Still Happening

TV News

Despite everything having gone extremely quiet over the past year, it seems as if we may still have a chance of seeing a Tremors TV show.

If you remember, Kevin Bacon took part in a Twitter AMA session a year or so ago in which he confirmed that a Tremors series was in development. Now, when taking part in a Reddit AMA for new show I Love Dick, the actor was asked whether a Tremors show is still happening. Bacon responded, “We are working on that!”

The original news from a year ago had it down that Bacon would serve as executive producer on the show in addition to reprising his role of Valentine McKee for the series.

For those not familiar with Tremors, the original film was released in 1990 from director Ron Underwood. Starring Bacon, Fred Ward, Michael Gross, Finn Carter, and Reba McEntire, the movie centred on a small town that’s suddenly terrorized by giant underground worm-like creatures who have a taste for human flesh. Since then, there have been four further movies and a brief 2003 TV series.

Elsewhere, a sixth entry in the main Tremors movie franchise is booked in for a VOD release on January 30th, 2018.

As ever, expect more on this potential new Tremors TV show as we get it.
