NBC Scraps POWERLESS After One Season

TV News

With TV renewals and axings being the order of the day this week, now comes news on another show to fall by the wayside.

This time the show in question is the DC-based comedy series Powerless, with NBC having pulled the plug on the series after just a solitary season. To anyone who had kept up with the show, this won’t come as any major surprise given how the network didn’t even show the final three episodes of said season.

Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi, Ron Funches and Christina Kirk, Powerless was set in Charm City and centred on Wayne Security and their job of helping clean up the damage and destruction caused by the superheroes and villains of the DC world.

Powerless had yet to find a UK home, and it now seems unlikely it ever will.
