As FX’s American Horror Story gears up for its seventh season, the fan favourite series has brought in Billie Lourd.

Deadline is reporting that the actress, recently seen in Scream Queens and long known to genre fans as the daughter of Carrie Fisher, has been brought in to join Evan Peters, Sarah Poulson and Billy Eichner in Season 7 of the show. No specific details are known on who she’s playing just yet, although it’s believed to be a lead role.

This seventh season of American Horror Story will premiere in the second half of this year, with the premise this time focussing on last year’s US election.
