TV News

Hot on the heels of this week’s CARRIE story comes the announcement of a brand new TV adaptation of another Stephen King property – this time it’s the turn of his 2009 novel UNDER THE DOME.

For those unfamiliar with King’s story, it tells the tale of Chester Mill, a small town in Maine which on one Winter’s day is mysteriously enclosed inside in a massive, invisible and impenetrable dome (like in THE SIMPSONS movie.) As you’d imagine this causes a bit of an upset amongst the 2000 citizens trapped inside - with no way in or out, things soon start to get messy.

DreamWorks are developing the show with a script by GREEN LANTERN writer Michael Green. Let’s hope all involved manage to do this excellent concept justice.

Expect the show to be with us late 2012.
