With all Emerald Archer eyes geared towards Arrow’s fifth season, the first new cast member has been confirmed for the Stephen Amell-starrer.

EW is reporting that Mr. Robot’s Rick Gonzalez is to join the show in the role of Wild Dog, a vigilante created by Max Allan Collins and Terry Beatty back in 1987. Also known as Terry Wheeler, the persona of Wild Dog came about as a way for Terry to fight back against the crime that’s on the streets. With a submachine gun and a shock-tastic pair of electric gloves, the Wild Dog channels the loss of his girlfriend and friends to help him keep the streets safe.

Where Wild Dog’s role in Arrow is concerned, the reckless vigilante will be taken under the wing of Oliver Queen.

Arrow returns in the second half of the year.
